I have seen countless people make it through this map with worse fleets than mine. I'm starting to think that I have somehow triggered a glitch that makes it impossible to progress. I've been stuck on the last kill for 5 days now. I've spent 30k and almost 300 buckets and I still have not come even close to sinking the boss. I do not know how I can possibly be this unlucky when I use identical or superior setups as people who have cleared the map. Is such a thing even possible?

That fleet was easy for the entire map until the last kill. Since then, I swapped kinu for jintsuu and my second dd for agano. I also have tried replacing chitose with noshiro for a third cl. I'm getting consistent 94 TP depletion with S ranks at E-3, but this last one was the only one that only gave me 65, the lower end, despite it also being an S rank. Only thing that changed from the other runs was that one of my daihatsu ships got taiha'd in the node previous to the boss (2nd fleet flagship).

For the third time, amatsukaze is not in the fleet. Try reading sometime. I was using 2dd before the last kill because the map was comically easy. I was using murakumo then. I switched to amatsukaze to try something different because I needed survivability, not firepower. Someone recommended I drop the second dd entirely, so I did. I've been using 2cl since then if I use 1cv and 1cvl and I have also tried 3cl with 1cv. Unless you're suggesting that hatsuzuki is a shit dd, but I promise you she has not been the problem here.

I've already told you exactly what I have on everyone. I don't use viewers so I can't take nice screenshots. I'm not an eop so I don't mind vanilla and I've never seen people get this autistic over equipment. The 15.5cm gun you took from Hiei you put on KTKM and get rid of the 14cm gun. Why are you using aerial support? 2BB2CV2DD support is better. Your support CVs should have dive bombers, not torp bombers. Those torps don't do shit on DDs so switch them for radars or guns. Put 2 radars on each support CV and 2 diver bombers.
