Kamihime wiki says that the Expert Advent battle is doable at 10k Battle Strength, I'm already at 17k but it still impossible to me, is this only apply if you have full squad of the counter element? It probably supposes not only a matching team, but also a half-decent newbie grid of Assault weapons (although their effect is limited at such low levels of battle strength). If you're fighting off-element you definitively need some Assault, you can't just brute-force trough it unless you got top.tier debuffs/healing.

For AW, I think they've only done so via a replacement artist (see Thetis, Sakuya). For AW2, they've added a couple well after the update (Liana, Saria, Junon).

They're long overdue for what they're doing now, honestly. They were releasing the same number of units per week that they were blooming for nearly a whole year. The eidolon blows, you could get at least one copy of the SSR weapon. Water is the strongest element, so forming a grid preemptively is not a bad idea - the SR assault axe has 1.8k attack, which is better than the raid ones.
Soul point if you are short of getting a new soul. At least one premium ticket (2 would be ideal if you believe in gambling luck) and the weapon release ticket.
AP elixirs obviously, as they don't restock past the available 20.

Let's see, I'll try to conjure some figures up. Say you drop 1 SR assault weapon every 3 days (doing all 6 available raids every day, plus joining other people's), you need 10 weapons x4 or at least for the time being x3 copies so 90 days -9 days for every "MLB weapon you get from an event"/ "no LB assault SSR you get from the gacha"/ "placeholder SSR of the wrong element you use for stats while you farm more weapons of the right element". Assuming you focus on one element and really take care to skill the weapons level up you should have a ultimate-worthy -grid- in a couple months if you're on Nutaku and main a good element. On DMM you might need more time as event bosses get harder (they hit harder, mostly) with time and there's other stuff to do too, but you also have 100% eidola so that simplifies things a little.
For Ragnarok it's a matter of skill level mostly. Get everything SR to 20 and SSRs as high as you can, it shouldn't take long after you can tackle ultimate if you have a decent team.

I just grabbed event SSR weps and uncapped them best I could. Put whatever other weps had the highest numbers onto my grid. A bit less than a month later I'm doing ULT. Honestly fuck the SR crap. It's way too much effort to raise their skills and only works for one element. It's also wasted effort because they're going to be thrown out in the future. I'd stick to 2~3 SR placeholders to upgrade and just raise that ATK. If you have raw numbers and debuffs/support you don't even need any weapon skills to clear ultimate, plus you can actually do all of the elements instead of being pigeonholed into one team. So if by working grid you mean able to run advent ultimate, you should be able to do that after participating in a few events.

I got Fes from a Labyrinth stage and I'm worried she might end up rotting in my inventory forever because I feel like I'd regret using her on any unit no matter what

As it turns out, the next event is indeed is indeed an item collection for black orc gladiator Anatolia. Rebis at least should be happy about her, since he's well aware of Aigis (he did some fanart for Amanda), if he didn't draw her already.

Archer 2AW too, with Selene and Rapid Shooter split, Selene sounds like the stat route while Rapid Shooter may be the gimmick route with less stats and more attack speed. Noel/Kagura revival follows Sorano, Furfur revival also coming up.

You'll have to calculate. For a very rough approximation, check if "5% of your current (with Jorm) power" is more than "the difference between you power with Vitra and your current power".
Say you currently have 10000 (I seriously hope not, but hey it's an example). 5% is 500. So you switch Vitra in and check: did you get more than 500? If yes, it's possibly worth it, ignoring the life bonus and a bunch of other stuff like the call effect.
This is by no means accurate, but that's the best you have short of trying it out in the field or spending weeks on formulas.

No problem. Also remember, in case you're wondering if you should keep Vritra as a secondary eidolon, that water eidola will give you an extra bonus if you have a water team. The bonus is only shown in the total power once it's in your grid since it's technically a bonus the himes get (so try not to forget about it when you're rearranging your eidola grid).

Meanwhile FKG just shits out gems for literally anything, like a "2.5 year anniversary."

They started okay with some good login bonuses and were treating it about the same way. I remember around launch we got bonus gems on login for like a month or two straight because they just kept making up new player milestones to throw them at us for, but then it just completely dropped off and I have no idea why.

Also they fucked up the Poker events hard after the first one when you couldn't use your winnings to keep playing anymore. No one wants to grind the shitty event maps for tokens to gamble away on potential losses. It was easier to just clear the maps for the gems and then farm the rest of your points on event raid bosses and use your stamina on something useful like phonemes or fairies.

It simply never got the care FKG did despite both being under the same company.

Preferably, I'd like to see one with an offense focus and one with a defense focus. That's how the heavy units themselves are split, anyway. I'd like to see the same thing for Dragon Princess. For heavy, offense could have maybe an angel-like ability to hit more than one blocked unit but not all of them in addition to an attack boost, while defense could have a cost/block increase on top of a defense boost.

Realistically, they'll probably do a big stat boost for one and a gimmick on the other because we can't have nice things with AW2.

She's one of the best plats in the game. Dancers are unnecessary for regular content but shine in majin and other high-tier maps, where their stat boost contributes strongly to multi-hit burst skills (think units like Rion, Margeret, Nanaly, Asherah and Elizabeth).

Both of her skills are finicky to use compared to the other premium dancer, Marnie, but compensate for it with extended range and duration, so you'll get more mileage from her if you plan ahead for skill activations.

You'll usually deploy her in the back, yeah, but majin stages tend to have very sprawling deployment patterns, so her extra range is very helpful there.

Think maps like Bifrons where you have to deal with the dracolich on one side and the samurai skeletons/Bifrons himself on the other, or Phenex where you have to plug two lanes with regenerating enemies.

Cheat unit of a sort, fun to use but not too powerful. Before anything else, you should know that she requires AW to function, use Eden if you aren't willing to invest strongly in her.

Her main gimmicks are paralysis (in 6 hits, quicker than most paralyzing units) and revival after death (not fast enough to matter for tanking, but means that she can be deployed on the far side of subjugations and other long-term maps to constantly pick off enemies), though keep in mind that she also hits hard in and out of skill. Her skill/SAW are both Anya-style flat damage cuts and allow her to tank and paralyze nearly everything in the game, including the adamant golem from that one gold rush map, but her initial timer is long so you can't deploy her as a panic button. She has alright defense, though, and benefits greatly from Elyse, who makes her shred golems like nobody's business. You'll also really want a necromancer, elementalist or demon summoner in the team, because dropping a token to tank one hit before deploying her allows you to paralyze dangerous enemies while retaining HP, especially against slow attackers like (again) golems.

She also has enough raw HP to disable strong ranged enemies like liches, dracoliches, elder dragons and the late goblin queen, which makes her a great answer to these before they can close in. Also great for black goblin archers and similar fragile but hard-hitting enemies, you can drop her into a group and she'll take down at least a couple before going down at no real cost to you. Overall she isn't a broken unit by any means but she's flexible and pretty well-designed, if you get used to her gimmicks you can pull off some things that few other units can do.
