Eternity Larva isn't really a fairy! She is actually a young god, and in fact a sworn enemy of Okina! This is because her religion basically directly opposes Buddhism, and was causing problems in the old days when people were ruining their lives trying to gain the wealth or reverse ageing that the god promised.

It is only because of Eternity's help, that Cirno was able to fight Okina in EXTRA. Cirno knows nothing about the gap between seasons so Eternity basically did everything to arm her for the battle. That was why Cirno was able to defeat Okina. It was a battle between two gods all along.
