This is a really difficult question to answer. I want to say this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7BkJrL8jC1o but I find it both nice and uncomfortable to look at. Demetori, UI-70, Dirty Androids and the Hardcore Syndrome series (particularly 2) have consistently good album art. I always liked this one though, though it's hard to say if it's my favorite.

And yeah I usually try to discover new artists based on album covers I like. It's not always a hit but it's usually a good method for me.

Really nice art and the music is great too, pic related's got some real cute art on the inside and even on the CD.

I've always liked RADIATA's, for some reason. Perhaps it's just the way that the art blends in with the rest, or the layering; but something about it just resonates with me.
