I'm very thankful for the calculations but they're showing there's no decisive conclusion and all setups are valid. The only one which is sticking out to some extent is fifth, the one with only three equips - but that was expected. It has significantly more power though. Other four are very similar with small shifts in one or other direction.
Furthermore you have only calculated AA aspect. You didn't calculate which setup is better overall. And well, you won't, because it is impossible. AA, damage dealt, damage taken, are all affected by chance to some degree, you have to find balance between those.

You definitely like a ship you use for 1/100 sorties less than a ship you use 10/100 sorties, no matter the stats.
And i'm not saying you shouldn't like ships with good stats. If he wanted general AA, an unupgraded 25mm CD was better than an unupgraded, say, 5in (because it can't be upgraded). It's obviously not any stronger than three 90mms so if people can use that then there's no reason why using a second AA gun with 9+ AA would be overkill.

Sure, Maya is just one of 12 ships that any given bomber slot can be targeted by. But if she's in the main fleet, in the daytime she attacks just 2 of 18 or 1 of 12 times (depending on whether first fleet has BB) and if she's in the escort fleet, it's just 1 of 18 or 12 times in the day, and 1 in 6 times at night. Yet one would not say that buffing firepower to a single ship is worthless, even if at times said firepower would end up not changing the fact that you still do scratch to a meatshield or it's still overkill against an enemy DD.
