A lot of mistranslations I think, the translator had no experience and was very young, well that's what you get for reading translations in this medium, I guess. Not like the original words are that better, though.

Imagine translating Ulysses. In this it isn't JUST the insane prose, the first translator barely spoke english, the second is somewhat insane.

I dunno about translation but it was very boring, I hated the premise, I despised the main character, and the cast was overall unremarkable.

/jp/ only liked Cross Channel because it was untranslated. Now that it's in English people recognize that it sucks, like all VNs do
