Do drunk Japanese businessmen really do that necktie around head cliche?

They did in the 80s, but it's super played out now. Girls will laugh at you.

Nah, they're too busy carrying home their drunk female 後輩s and rushing to the 終電.

Really?

Hey can you translate this for me please? Or tell me if it isn't Japanese. Pic related

Can't figure out that first hieroglyph.
Probably a Chinese name.

Damn, thanks bud
>>16483181
Why did they do in the first place?
>>16483181
When I do it around my Japanese coworkers they indeed laugh at me
>>16483819
Kinda looks like 屋.

They mostly just sleep on the streets passed out drunk in the clubbing and 1 night love hotel areas.
I saw it in Shinjuku. It was like I was in a real live anime. The younger generation in their 30s or mid twenties is so drastically different from their parents and those before them. A lot of Japanese businessman and women will go home and change into a set of night life clothes comprised of jeans and scanty party dress.

Don't overdramatize it. I live a minute behind Kabukicho and besides a few guys helping out their friend who vomited early on, it's no more crazy than your average college football weekend in the US.
It's just drunkenness and a culture of emulating style without substance.

Sure.
I don't disagree with that.
