You need to use the kobold hammer on the cracked floor in the red slime girl room. It's the middle room with the pumpkin icon and you can unlock it by defeating all lantern girls in the last room. Then you need to use yamabiko's echo to press the button.

A save file is created in the game's directory. I tried using one from 1.09, it mostly worked but I had to unlock the two non-monster skills and all areas again, so I figured it was too buggy and just started a new game.

Some of the monstergirls you can collect but they don't give you any special abilities, or at least they don't show up in the menu.
Is that how it's supposed to be?
I got the double jump and found a secret area past the lake with the monsters that turn into hands, there was an icon for what looked like a power up, but again, it doesn't show up in the select screen.
I feel like I've checked out all the available areas and I'm stuck now.
The only place left is past the yamabiko, but I don't have the ability to slide under to get through.

I always felt this too. There's like no actual point to this game yet. Since they added abilities and spunk physics, it seems more like the first Repure Aria, but unlike it, there's no game or story or anything attached. Messing around with fapping in that game was a side thing that sometimes just resulted in things getting covered in it, and other times resulted in different situations. It also wasn't quite as "sex is bad, except in gallery mode" as this game.

Zell also worked on some Alice in wonderland themed game, art only, and it was more of a game than this. There's not even really a reason to attack the monsters unless it's part of getting them captured.
