With how much I love LLS and MS, this piques my interest, but I'm curious to see if fanon interpretations will be incorporated into the story. It's not like there's much PC-98 fanon to begin with, but it seems there's stuff about Mima being Marisa's mother figure in there.

Yeah, you are actually right on that. They are actually quite similar, especially Patche captures flandre on the first game and the way Remilia stops Flandre in both the the 4th episode and the 3rd fangame.
