I wonder whatever happened to the translation. I thought about helping out sometimes but it's been ages since I even played it and I hated almost everybody back when I did, especially Ai.(I hate her 0 self-esteem personality) I should play through it again now that my Japanese has improved over the years.

One thing I liked is how even the kinda minor side girls had ero scenes. I also liked how you had to do stuff to get onto routes other than just choose answers.

Lots of DFC characters, route locked routes(as in you have to complete routes to unlock other routes), and Mii masturbating everywhere all the time. Mii is actually a little different in her nature, most of the characters aren't like that and do have scenes relatively lately.

I also used to have the fan disc, but I deleted/lost it for some reason. I need to see if I can get that again.

He's not the principal artist of any Frontwing game though, his art gets streamlined to match the overall aesthetic of the games he's involved in which have said modern bishoujo style.

His personal illustrations look quite distinct from the stuff he does for them.

Got my first bad end, I guess I suck or it's one of those pixel perfect precision event order games and I'll have to pick up a guide.
Well good thing I saved a lot.

Also I think being an eroge actually hurts this game, I feel like if the time with the H scenes and lewdness was put into better characterization it would work better with just some fanservice.

Otherwise it just seems really tacked on and clumsy to me, maybe that's just me though.
But even though I love the designs and visuals, it doesn't really do much for me, but I guess it's not supposed to be a nukige, but still even then why put 18+ content in anyway if it's so lacking and dull?

The OST is pretty classy though.

Never gave it much thought, I guess I can check.

That's more Akio Watanabe than Poyoyon, if you think of them as alter egos. We haven't seen fresh, substantial (not just the odd eyecatch etc.) Poyoyon work in years.

No, Poyoyon Rock has always been a 'different' artist dedicated to doing a different style. Akio Watanabe was drawing in his signature style before and after he did stuff as Poyoyon Rock.

PR I believe was mainly created to separate his name from eroge but after the style became so iconic PR was credited for key animation where Watanabe wanted to adapt that style (Popotan anime, Komugi-chan, Netrunmon etc.)

I believe Poyoyon Rock did an eyecatch for the *monogatari series a few years ago. Of course it's all Watanabe, but you can see the distinction he likes to create between his two styles - it's just a pseudonym. I have a Poyoyon Rock artbook from 2012 on the shelf next to me now and we get some stuff from PR's twitter, but he hasn't had full involvement in a project for some time.
