Linux is pretty good as an OS, and if you wanted to run Windows games, all you would need is wine and the dlls that help the game run. Also consult /g/ about it, they have a wiki on the sticky that has a guide to various linux distros and software. Also ask their friendly linux thread for help installing and configuring the system.

Since Kasen is a manga character rather a game character, she has to be licensed through the manga publisher rather than just through ZUN.

If you look at stuff from famous titles like Bleach, JoJo, DBZ, etc, you'll see that the publisher is required to sign off on and license all the goods. So for example you wouldn't see an Attack on Titan plush if Kodansha didn't give the go-ahead. In Kasen's case, they feel that it's best to keep her available only where the manga is sold, which means Japan only. Since AmiAmi is an international retailer, Kasen won't be made available there.

Mine's squished for sure. I got her used, idk if the previous owner squished it or it got squished in shipping, but that's how it is now. My Remi v2's hat is also a bit squished, it's made out of the same material.

If there's a way to unsquish them, I don't know of it.

Just curious about the bidding system in FromJapan
If the current bid is 5k yen and I place a bid of 15k, will the new bid become 15k or 5.5k, assuming 500yen bid increment?

Been looking for a kasen fumo since I found out, however all I've been finding regarding Kasen are DOUJIN - USED and a 300$+ griffon figure

In this case it would be 5.5k if it is YAJ. The price will go up to 15k. Anything more than that, or if you are the second too bid on that amount, and you will have to rebid a higher amount.

As an edge case example for YAJ, which has happened to me on both sides, if you put in your max bid of 15k first, and then an other person puts in 15k, the max bid will still be 15k but since you put yours in first you will win if there are no more bids. This is also if there is only 1 item in the auction.

It has nothing to do with FromJapan or the Proxy itself.
