Let me cut to the chase; I've been getting into Dragon Quest. I've mostly been playing spin-offs up until now, but I also recently played the Japanese 3DS release of Dragon Quest VII. Looking at how often games for the series actually get localized in the west, however, I decided it might be in my best interests going forward to just continue playing the games in Japanese on my hacked 3DS.
There's just one problem - I can't find Japanese versions of Dragon Quest I+II on either GBC or SNES that is already in a 3DS/N3DS VC format. Same with Dragon Quest III GBC/SNES.
Does /jp/ know where I might find any? Also Dragon Quest thread, I guess. It's close enough to a Japanese national symbol, so it should be on topic.

Download a gameboy/color emulator on your phone and play the GBC 1+2 and 3 games.
You can also play the SFC release of those games (the GBC versions are a port/rerelease of those versions but a bit easier).
If you have more questions there is often a DQ thread on /vr/ and while a lot of /vr/ will try to get you to play the original FC versions, just don't.
No idea about the 3DS VS formats though. Maybe look into japanese forums talking about pirating VC games.
