Neat, so this one's about Ionocidium's decision to immigrate to Banana Ocean. We even get to see her dodge ability in action, at the expense of poor Woodsorrel.

At least her laziness is a product of being cooked alive under the summer heat, unlike her friend Epidendrum, whose sole reason to become a flower knight is that she was told she could live a life of luxury that way.

It's the first event with accessories. Get used to that, because every event after them has it and they're really good. (Although Nutaku will double back for what they skipped to get to the Halloween event first.)

The only thing that prevents me from playing Nutaku's FKG is the lack of sufficient free Gems to expand storage. I'm only playing for a month on DMM and I've already blew like 50 gems just on storage. I can't do that on Nutaku when they're so scarce.

I'm about to hit 50 Flower Gems in the Nutaku version of FKG. Should I hold on to them for something better or should I just roll Premium for a chance at Nerine?

Yes, equipment. They're all quite a bit stronger than the stuff you'll get from the gacha. With 4, you're easily looking at over 2k bonus attack and defense. You level them the same way, by feeding. Eventually they'll introduce what are basically manyus for accessories, too.

I can't remember what the rates on the silver tickets were like on FKG for DMM version but on Nutaku's version it is a 100% chance for 4* unit only. When you pull the ticket it even says its for a 4+ star unit. I would think this will happen to the gold ticket on day 7 and being a 100% chance for a 5* unit too.

Been playing for 2 months. My suggestion is doing the SP Quests for upgrade items to upgrade your Kamihime. Even R Kamihime can be good when you Limit Break them.

The SP quests change every few hours. Do the ones with elements you need. Also pick a Divine Hero you want to unlock and go for her. I went for Joan of Arc and she's pretty good.

Which doesn't really work in this case because she's the first unit of her class so we have no comparison, we have no idea what a general stat numbers, distribution, or cost would look like for a unit of her class, let alone a Black (albeit an event Black). A Rogue with 1.7x Attack, Attack Speed Boost, and 0 Block works very differently than a Heavy Armor with 1.7x Attack, Speed Boost, and 0 Block would work.

Looks like this week's additions are Soapwort (rainbow), Wax Tree, Japanese Maple and Kochia (bring on the good girl jokes).

Wax Tree looks surprisingly innocent for a toxic plant, but then it is fairly subdued compared to its cousins in poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. And any of these in turn can't compare to manchineel, which is so ungodly toxic that even the rain that falls off its leaves is dangerous.

FKG back up. We've gotten the storage system, which allows you to deposit your excess fairies, dragons, petals and birds; and they also intend to implement an equipment storage system in the future. They've also implemented a new type of campaign where certain maps cost less stamina for the time being, which is neat for people looking to complete the main story or nation dailies.

New event is a card-flipping type and has us collecting chestnuts this time around. I wonder if we're going to get an actual chestnut knight this Christmas.

High-level missions that yield unique equipment (for the first two sets - they're necklaces with some decent stats and bracelets that give 5% critical chance, 5% chance for Rose-style counterattack, 15% shine crystal drop rate to party or 20% chance to restore 10% at the beginning of the turn) or life crystals (the rest, later ones give 320 per set and will fund a solid number of skill flowers for your golds and rainbows) for their 3-medal rewards.

There are 19 sets on DMM, each set contains Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday maps and has enemies that are weak to that day's dragon type (so slashing/crushing/piercing/magic). One new set is added each month. Difficulty increases linearly with each map, but some glorious madman did the last batch with nothing but event golds so they aren't impossible, you can even bring silvers to the first few maps. If you could clear them reliably, they were also a decent source of fairies in pre-whale days, since they drop either ampules or fairies of their corresponding type.

You will clear many of them by the skin of your teeth, so they're pretty fun.

And if you think ultimate maps are too easy, this recent update added a new map in which you go on a fun field trip to Kodaibana (the ruined, pest-infested sixth country of Spring Garden, seventh if you count Lotus Lake), where pairs of level 150 ultimate map bosses occupy small fry nodes, your defense is halved in each node due to pest abilities (yes, pests get abilities now), and the real boss hits your party for 10k damage a pop.

No allies can be taken for this stage, and the recommended team power is 600k. This is fully justified, my ~535k team didn't even stand a chance.

To put my disgust in simple terms, I have a maxed out Camilla and gold Iris on both servers and with that the prince only have around 3 seconds of paralize, wich is not even a trouble at all when I go to the majin maps. Well, luck-bragging aside, Nutaku does have a reliable way to get a decent number of golds, and that's pretty good. You don't really need rainbows to clear the game's content, they're mostly there as an incentive to pay.

DMM's system is better, but EN FKG is not that terrible. But it could definitely stand to hand out more flower stones, DMM for example just got 50 flower stones yesterday because of a downtime.

Nutaku FKG: Seems like all the silly localized names somehow made their way back in through the album. If anyone with a large collection wants to archive them for whatever purpose, now's the time.

It's just a generic haniwa statue, not a hanny.

If I'm getting this right, it's because of a name pun between haji/haze (wax tree) and haji pottery/statues excavated from the Haze Nisanzai kofun. Her SD also sometimes has a shrike perching on her head, which is another pun on mozu (shrike) and the Mozu kofun cluster, while her candle staff is a more direct reference to the tree's uses, and the reason she speaks an Okinawan dialect is that wax trees are native to there.

FKG has a whole lot of neat references like that, and the JP wiki does a great job of documenting them.

To put something in, click it and you should see a new button. Click that and it goes to storage. To take something out, go to your character list (has to be the one where you lock/unlock/equip units) and there should be a new button at the top right that shows what's in your storage.

Anyone had luck getting FKG to run on Android?
I installed Dolphin browser and updated flash on it and it runs, but the scaling on it is fubar and I can't seem to even flick around the full-size game area.

Force-zoom allows you to zoom IN, but not OUT. And despite my phone being 1080p, the game window is more than twice as large. Is there some screen width setting for Dolphin I'm missing or maybe some addon that will help?

I should sample voice clips from FKG JP wiki or something before deciding to roll. It bothers me that the last few waifus I went for (and got) turned out to have not-so-great voices (like, Dogwood is nicer). SD ojisan seriously carries FKG.
