The thing about handshakes is that one ticket is really not worth anything because they'll greet you and thank you for coming and then your <10 seconds is already up and they'll tell you to come again. It's fine just to meet them and see them up close but you won't have any kind of memorable interaction unless you buy a handful of tickets.

Eh, if you've got a bit of cash and can stack a minute or two with your oshi you can have a quick conversation that'll stick with you. If it's your once in a lifetime trip to Japan it's certainly worth it and a good memory. But it's obviously better to be able to go back because if you're interesting then she might remember you and that's a good feeling.

I definitely wouldn't call it unremarkable. I still remember my first idol concert ~8 years ago. Seeing the group I'd been following for awhile file out on stage was a rush, and it's certainly stuck with me. It's a good memory.
