Scarlet Devil Mansion can be shortened to SDM, and is shorter than Koumakan as a result.

We're talking about a nip here, they need weeks of practice to even differentiate between L and R, and you're saying he clearly said "Ru" somewhere instead of just saying ル? You're grasping at straws.

The whole "sir-no" thing even came from Zun romanizing the name in a bizarre manner, making it even more obvious he has no understanding of English conventions. It's always been Chi-Ru-No, and taking anything written by someone who doesn't even understand English as the word of god is the height of idiocy.

Can't have that.

Rumia's name is a corruption of illuminate as a silly little form of irony when it comes to her ability. Pronouncing it or spelling it Rumia or Lumia really doesn't make a difference anyway.

Cirno's name is a corruption of chill, it would make sense to pronounce it like "chi-ru-no" or "chillno".

And they both go with EoSD's western theme in that barely anybody introduced in EoSD has a Japanese name (I mean Sakuya isn't even her real name anyway so whatever).

The Japanese names are also gibberish.

You can't just discuss whenever a given name is correct or not, it makes no sense. We many have real life cases of common names getting modified to fit the country's language. No matter what reason there is, Rumia is called Rumia. You don't suddenly stop being John and change into Giovanni when you go to Italy or Juan when you go to a Spanish speaking country.
