A year ago, I had this problem on my notebook. I even used DirectX fix but it didn't work, so I used the Directx file inside touhou 7/8(I don't remember witch one of them) and pasted it inside th6 folder(overwriting the original one). Also, If I remember correcly, you have to run it always on fullscreen(not sure about it).

I see. After using the converter, it worked in fullscreen, but it doesn't support my X360 controller.

What? Really? My X360 wireless and wired worked pretty well with all ths. The only thing I had to do normaly was reajust the buttons and the sensivity. If it still dosn't work, use JoyToKey.
