How many web mirrors of the TLMC exist out there?
I only know about:
http://touhou.kuukunen.net/ (MP3 LAME3.98r @ V2, ~190kbps vbr)
http://151.80.40.155/ (Opus 1.1 @ 128kbps VBR, similar quality to kuukunen)

It's just a direct download site for the TLMC. Why does this exist?
>>15689772
Because some people don't want to torrent?
>>15689776
I don't think that there are many people that:
- wouldn't use the other sites that already exist
- would download lossless music
- would download fucking TTA files that contain an entire album
and wouldn't use torrents.
It would make more sense if was just a FLAC touhou music stream site, as an alternative to the existing ones.

I just know I've used it before, it's more convenient to use than finding the torrent and loading it into my client and selecting the files I want from the file list. I just search it on the site and download it, no having to mess around with a 1.4tb torrent.

TLMC has quite a lot of stuff that isn't available elsewhere, mostly because it's old enough that the links have died.
>- would download lossless music
I have no problem transcoding.

I have no problem transcoding.

The .torrent file for TLMC is 7GB. If I had a spare hard drive, I'd use it it, but at the present moment, every time I want to download an album I weigh the irritation of getting the individual album against the irritation of setting up a partial TLMC.
These sites probably wouldn't be my first choice, but in my list of things to check, they're present and above the full-blown TLMC.

>(Opus 1.1 @ 128kbps VBR, similar quality to kuukunen)
I appearnlty completely forgot the encoding settings I used for that. I probably could've done it at a higher bitrate, but it seemed good enough. Also not enough hard drive space.
TLMC update when

it's 7.5mb

Well I'll be, it sure is. I must have read "bytes" as "kilobytes" years ago. That really makes the full torrent much more attractive.

Try 160Kb/s with Opus 1.1.3 (it's faster, no idea if it has any quality improvements).
.exe files for opus-tools 0.1.9 with libopus 1.1.3: https://github.com/Chocobo1/opus-tools_win32-build/releases

I don't have enough scratch space on my server to do it again, and the TLMC had so many edge cases that made converting it a hassle.
