I'm thinking of getting Fate / Stay Night Realta Nua version (for the PS Vita). My only concern is that the ero scenes are dropped from this version and replaced with non-pornographic scenes. Were the ero scenes in the original ver. of Fate / Stay Night very pivotal to the story, or can they be excluded with little affect?

Not really but they were nice, the worms shaped like dicks were pretty funny and creepy at the same time.

I would be more concerned about the violence. I heard it was toned down in Realta Nua.

They weren't pivotal per se, but what replaces them is fairly ridiculous. Also, Realta Nua really hamstrings the HF route. The 18+ patch for the PC version of RN is the best version of the game out there desu, having the best of all worlds.

Not important for the first two routes but Heaven's Feel is a different story without the ero.
