For the most part futaba(specifically may) is much more easy going than 4chan, apart from certain threads, like when 艦豚 try and rouse up 東方厨. People are very wary of samefagging there though
The boards give off an aura of neetness which I really like

I'm pretty sure that people on Futaba don't care a shit about ''neetness''.
You see a lot of different threads made by different kind of people on may.

But the best thing about futaba in my opinion is that the whole board cultures bullshit is pretty much nonexistent.
