I get a k-pop vibe from them.

They have a relation to Dream and Exile, I don't really think much of them. Not my thing.

There's ton of varied idol groups out there now so I guess there's room for this too.

I wouldn't compare them to KPOP which is kind of a dirty word here given it's /jp/, more like hip hop mixed with EDM that idol groups wont really do given how they prefer fresh off training vs the "finished product" that E-Girls delivers.

But then again I am probably one of the few foreign fans who is aware of this group. Most people who are in jidol is more familiar with AKB/HP!

I always thought it was strange that even in mmd videos with really lewd character models, they still used cutesy disney dance routines. then on the other hand in macross frontier the character supposedly based on britney spears and madonna ended up being way more popular than the normal jpop idol.
