I for one would make myself a good-looking costume.

I think I'd mostly be a selfish ass with my powers. Depending on what they are, of course. Besides, actually BEING a superhero is a lot different from just having the powers. You would need to find all the crimes (asides from petty thievery non-existant in my area), and then not get caught for vigilantism.
