The promo site for Gahkthun is really nice.
So why does the main mangagamer website still look like shit?

Can they get someone to revamp the site now since they seem to be expanding a lot more now, and that their website is the first impression that potential customers will see.

The current site would have been fine in 2006~2008ish but now it just looks fake and sketchy.

>The pink is so undesirable to look at.
>The tags in the ovals are extremely ugly and some of them are cut off at the tops and bottoms. The words are pixellated.
>All the buttons on the page look very outdated in general.
>The image previews of the products are in a like 50x30 pixel box where you can barely make out the cover.
>The Anime section has literally nothing.
>There's no clear navigation that makes sense. All the "popular categories" are just random things on a list, that has to be expanded.
>The companies/partners are just haphazardly listed under the categories.
>Can't find a button to see entire catalog or any catalog to browse through titles.
>Hot News in a very tiny box that has to be scrolled
>The slideshow advertisements is very crude/sharp because its just standalone in the pink background with no frame or anything.

That's what I see by just glancing at the site.
This is unrelatedish but their phrase "Your onestop moe download store" doesn't really make clear what mangagamer really is.
wtf is downloading moe. Also, mangagamer doesn't even focus on moe stuff anymore. Saying that MG is just for moe stuff is misadvertising their other products.

If you wanted to sell something like ef: a fairy tale of the two or something like Gahkthun, you wouldn't design a website that was pink and looked like this. It doesn't match at all.
Even Sekai Project has a nicer website.

Yes, because HaruKuru is pretty well known.

The translation group seems to have just went public a couple days ago. The partial Mahoyo translation is an aborted attempt that they made before going public, I don't know why the think posting it is a good idea.

Interview with Kouryuu
http://gameramble.com/10-Questions-John-Pickett-MangaGamer

Probably the best part is
>we’re proud of the fact that we’re the only major publisher that still pushes to release titles fully uncensored and uncut on our platform when so many others have begun to choose the path of censorship and cutting content.
>>
>>14354408
Dude, you aren't the first person to tell them it sucks. Even their workers are saying the same thing. As I recall, their boss' excuse was that it costs too much money. I also don't know why the main site doesn't have links to the promo site on the game page. That's damn weird.

I guess that Flowers-based rivalry is still real.

Although this is sad, I hope these developers MG had to turn down don't get salty.
It's also nice to see in the interview Kouryuu making it clear that MG has no intentions of censoring the games they localize.

The more data the better. Old numbers are fine too.

>>14354281

One part curiosity, one part being able to guestimate how well certain titles are doing/do. Although for the latter accuracy's taken a hit lately due to the intensely crowded release schedule creating too much noise.

I've also been taking snapshots of the mangagamer weekly top five each week which I figured I'd start posting for those curious when I have some solid information. Right now I've only got a few months of solid mikan tracking before the bundles basically made the top 5 useless up till this month.
>>
>>14354146
The Amagami translation is dead, right?
>>
>>14355011
Rather than the top 5, sort by popularity. Demon Master Chris doing so well at the moment might be due to lingering bundle keys. Or it could be because it's nice-looking and cheap.
http://www.mangagamer.com/product_list.php?goods_type=1&page=1&keyword=&cmbSort=1
>>
>>14355018

The problem with doing by popularity is that it segregates preorders("coming soon") and actual titles.
>>
>>14355013

Doesn't it go up a few points of a % every month or two? Not quite dead.
>>
>>14355027
True, it's best use is to check how long-term sales are doing. There's still static at the moment though, since the bundle games are so high on the list.

Freelancer here, also have worked for a web dev firm before.
You can charge out the ass for the simplest web design, something with dynamic pages (news and adding new content) plus a shopping system can easily cost tens of thousands of dollars. If they want the purchase system to be remade or fit the new design better, that can run 15-20k just by itself. This is one field where it's extremely easy to overcharge people. If they were to contact a cheaper freelancer then it wouldn't cost as much, but if somebody redesigns the entire website you need to consider graphics, the design itself, then all of the background systems that need to be run. It's fairly time-consuming and ecommerce websites take the longest dev time and cost the most. From personal experience. You also have to break things down like the account system, the content system, and the purchasing system. A user account system itself can easily run for 10-15k depending on how robust it is, and when you consider security you can increase the cost even more.
>>
>>14355214
This does sound expensive. Couldn't MG just make cosmetic changes to their existing site for little to nothing? Changing its color scheme and such.

>>
>>14355265
It all depends on how they sell. There's a minimum hard copy run requirement, so if its digital sales are below it, like Cartagra, then they won't get one.
>>
>>14355244

Hard to say why it is listed high at mangagamer. It is on Steam (so it gets exposure) and it has a patch (appealing to people who think Steam are assholes), so it should sell like butter on Steam. Do mangagamer just share the sale total with Steam?

You don't know anything about Kickstarter, do you? It's going to make more money per day in these last ten days than before and at least 10-20k in the last day alone. That's what always happens. I give it a very low chance of failure.
>>
>>14355608

It really depends on how much of their potential audience they haven't convinced to contribute yet or how much they can milk out of their existing backers. They have to find more than 300 people to contribute the average or more to meet the goal, or convince every one of their current backers to increase their pledge by ~$25.

It's not exactly dire, but it's not a sure thing either.
>>
>>14355608
I've actually made my calculations before posting. End rush is rarely more than 30-40% of start rush, and by extrapolating current rate + end rush we get 70-80k range. That's why I said "significant" (i.e. p>=0.3) chance, not "certain".
>>
>>14355624
Dovac will just pull some shady shit like 'pledging' $10k of his own money if that happens, to collect on the rest of it.
>>
>>14355508
That's the expected result, no? It's a sequel and sequels usually don't do as well as previous entries unless the stories are unconnected. And KnS1 didn't exactly set the charts on fire.
>>
>>14355624
I think the odds of it failing are much lower than 30%. There's also a mentality for kickstarters that we haven't really seen with VNs yet when a project is really close to the goal but not quite there yet. People start feeling an obligation to push the project past the finish line. Projects have failed after reaching 90%+ funding, but this is exceptionally rare.
>>
>>14355640
Would be funny if he does it, gets caught by KS staff (that shit is forbidden by ToS explicitly) and banned from it forever.

>>
>>14355694
It had to accumulate sales for very long time, initial rush was worse than cartagra/kns2.
>>
>>14355596
Nobody. People on here are already convinced that's true, and why waste time confirming it and run the risk of actually disproving the current consensus? No, people are just going to refrain from doing that and call anyone actually doing it and posting about it a Sekai shill who is lying about the scripts being different.

>>14355699
Lack of initial rush was entirely MG's fault for Kara no Shoujo 1. For most of the initial 24 hours, and some time after that, the game was unavailable for purchase. Those "lucky" enough to get it before it went offline got treated to a beta build with major spoilers. (Meanwhile, pirates were playing a fixed version as people who purchased the game were kept waiting.)

Yes, I'm still mad.
>>
>>14355733
I'd attribute the lack of initial rush more to the lack of voices. And it took them over two years to reach the meager goal established for releasing a voiced version.

>>
>>14356366
Bitch, it was 'translated' by 10 different Fuwanovel 'translators', all doing random parts, the main one of which was an admitted machine translator who they didn't even kick off until people pulled posts from him off the internet archive saying he couldn't read Japanese at all, and then, somehow, all 100% of his work was supposedly redone and verified correct a week later, and every single patch and sample of their work has been literally full of bizarre errors. It's the same as KoiRizo, machine translated, and then a poor attempt to cover it up by editing it over and over again.

What more evidence do you want? A video of them using Google Translate?

But feel free to post the scripts so we can show off your failures for something like the sixth time, Mdz.
>>
>>14356418
The mistakes were also grammatically fucked up, like "the waves have calmed" translated as "The sound of the waves is relaxing," that really shows he was not looking at the original Japanese at all.

The eroge industry has some freaklishly multitalented people.

Scaji is the CEO of two brands plus their holding company, along with being the producer of all their games, a writer, and an artist. Takaya Aya (Otoboku series, among many other things) is a writer, artist, programmer, and producer, and he does music on the side.
>>
>>14356526
It takes very little talent to be a producer or CEO, and basically all VN studios are horribly managed, so they don't even have that. It'd be like Herkz bragging about being team leader for Commie AND also editor.

That Scaji has managed, basically on his own, to keep Keromakura afloat this long, during a time when other eroge companies are folding left and right, means he must be doing something right on the business side.

Even if you ignore that, the fact remains that he has his fingers in basically every aspect of the creation of his games, which is impressive enough.

Really depends on exactly what needs to be done. It can actually be done relatively quickly (a few weeks), but with how often people actually work at firms compared to how much they should, it'll probably balloon project into a couple of months. Usually when you contract a website more than one person will work on it so the cost has to be split amongst the workers, at least in theory. In actuality the boss gets all the cash and you'll get a nice bonus if you bring in enough revenue yourself. Another place I worked it which was normal desktop development, I was paid about $40 an hour but we charged clients $175 an hour for work. So I was making well over my paygrade, if I had 10 hours if billables a week that was basically more than my salary for that same week.

Nobody actually works 8 hours a day, though, you'll probably put about half that time at best into a specific project. So while making a database and the systems to interact with that could take a few days or weeks itself depending on size, and the actual visual design of the website is the longest part (coupled with testing it for other browsers, assuming you don't go with a generic web 2.0 look) it can take quite a while. This is, of course, taking into account how people actually work in the workforce compared to what they do on their own.

>>14355244
Like >>14355281 said, this is business. You can charge people just to look at the website then charge them for minor changes pretty arbitrarily. You can get away with a lot of shit, especially for people who are unfamiliar with web design, it's all a huge joke. I used to charge people thousands of dollars for search engine optimization, which 90% of the time was just using Google webmaster tools, since small businesses don't need much more than that.
And the clients would always come back for more. I should feel a little bad but with the way my bosses have treated me I can't say I really care.

Why is MangaGamer called MangaGamer?
They don't have any relation to manga.
Imagine if they're talking to a potential partner and they call themselves MangaGamer. The potential partner will be like, "MangaGamer? You guys work on publishing manga in the west? What makes you want to work on visual novels?"
MangaGamer will have to say that they don't work on manga or is related to manga at all and the potential partner will start questioning MangaGamer's knowledge of japanese and their company title.

I hope they actually aren't updating their site because they are going to REBRAND soon tm to a name that makes sense for their work with a complete website overhaul.

Koiken Otome was also being primarily done by a confessed machine translator who deleted his post saying he used machine translation. When it was revealed, they said that he was only allowed to translate 'unimportant' scenes. When people made fun of them for that, he was supposedly kicked off entirely, but they somehow found a half dozen people on Fuwanovel to TLC what he did and declared it now accurate.

>>14358702
Maybe it was just a bad idea, as re-releasing something for a third time obviously was.

For Umineko, they'd be better off waiting for the entire thing to be TL checked and edited, so that they can release it all at once, or at fixed intervals.

Well the first was already part of some indie bundle, so it wouldn't surprise me people are waiting for the second to be placed in one to get it on the cheap.
Not like waiting is going to hurt since it is going to take ages for it all to be released.
>>
>>14358740
>re-releasing something for a third time obviously was
This is only MG's second version of Higurashi that I'm aware of, unless you're counting the French version that used to be on their site.

I am waiting for the entire series to be finished first. I know that sucks for MangaGamer, but since I already have a backlog of 20 VNs, I'm in no hurry to extend it with additional ones that I won't see the end of for years.

Why do we hate Sekai Project so much? Just read comments here:

This is how everyone now views VNs as because of dovac.

But that's exactly the essence of VNs. Most VNs are nukige, second majority is moege. Both of them are boob baits. Well, nukige at least may be sane, but moege are all stupid by definition. The rest about 1% or so story based ones are too few to have any impact.

IMO monobeno's length is far more likely to be what's stopped anyone from even considering it. Given the investment it would take to translate it, it'd be lucky to break even in addition to the possible heat that it could incur.

I personally believe that if someone were to step forward with the desire to translate some lolige, kouryuu would probably greenlight a mid-length game like galette's titles given that mikan sold fairly well. As it stands currently though, most of mangagamer's translators all have something else they'd rather get paid to do.

>>14363870

Do have to admit though, I'm a bit disappointed to see this. The tweet itself is fine given that sanahtlig's busy being a retard, but that reply to herkz kind of shows where her heart lies on the matter. This depends. If they not picking up just because they happen to choose other games then fine. If they can't possibly pick up the game because of lolis or similar stuff then this is absolutely censorship.
>>
>>14364545
>If they can't possibly pick up the game because of lolis or similar stuff then this is absolutely censorship.

That's still not MG censoring the game. You could argue that some entity was imposing censorship on MG in this scenario.
>>
>>14364545
In this case, they're not picking up literally just some random game. They have no partnership with that company. You might as well accuse Jast of censorship because they're not picking up Monobeno and it'd make as much sense. Or Ixrec of censorship.

Not that simple. Here we have two sides:
1. Mangagamer's courage to please their customers.
2. Local laws pressure level.
Balance of the two should be analyzed properly to see if Mangagamer just chicken out or really truly have no other choice.
>>
>>14364593

That's still not censorship
>>
>>14364422

Yeah I know, I never said or thought that you'd attempt to block anything loli related(could you even? I think that'd be a bit above your head from what I understand of how things work), and I'm sure you'd be professional if it came to you working on a title involving such a thing(though, I also don't really see you being involved in such a title given that you've graduated from the hazing), just that it's fairly evident that you don't seem to think much of lolicons. I'm just a bit disillusioned because I thought you wouldn't be the type to harbor those kinds of feelings.

Legality of loli shit is different in each state in the US and of course is different between each western country.
Trying to bring over a onahole with just a picture got him jailed and on high alert in canada.
If their product is outright illegal in a certain country, they obviously won't be able to make any sales from that country and the product would be very restricted in potential buyers just from the law.
And then, from that smaller audience, it would only appeal to VN readers who are interested in loli which is even smaller.
The Laws + VN Community is too restricted for loli to be a good business investment.

Not bringing over something isn't censorship because you are free to read it in Japanese. Nothing is being censored.

Localizing loli content is just going to trigger SJWs to try to take down any localization company and cause meticulous inspection on its other works.
I don't like loli but I don't understand why some people are so adamant against lolis.

By the laws that majority of humans have set and by popular opinion, fujoshit and gay shit are fine but loli is not.
If you declare yourself as a fujoshi ( I like men fucking eachother), more people will accept you than if you declare yourself a lolicon (I like seeing elementary school age girls being fucked)

If you only like lolis in a pure/nonsexual/parental way because they are cute, then you shouldn't be calling yourself a lolicon.

Child porn is illegal because it connects to exploitation of children, not because it is somehow morally inferior to gay, or any other kind of porn.

You can't exploit 2D characters, and therefore it makes no sense to lump 2D and 3D porn together, much less express moral superiority on enjoying one kind of fiction over another.

It's too bad that most people populating this planet are sniveling retards who can never see the point of anything and form their moral values almost solely on what's enforced by their society, most of the time for wrong reasons, too.

Girls married when they were twelve in the ancient world, and nobody found a problem with that because that was just how the society functioned back then. It's not like reaching the age of 18 transforms you into a different state of being (if there even is such a line, then it would 12-14 years as the biological sexual maturity would indicate). In any case, enforcing your arbitrary "moral values" on a work of fiction is dumb, and you should die for doing so because if people like you had the power, Lolita — one of the most prominent masterpieces in English literature — would never have been written.

And I'm not even into lolis, now that I think about it, I usually prefer oneesans in my gaems, but it still pisses me off to no end when someone tries to censor the freedom of expression, regardless of content.

The latest Narcissu updates makes the $350 tier obsolete. The tapestry is now an add-on for any pledge level. And of course, a previous update made the $280 tier obsolete as well, since the T-shirt is also an add-on now. This might actually cause the total to drop, since people might not want to pay more for the exact same rewards.
>>
>>14357586

This doesn't line up with existing data. Are you sure you didn't purchase on october 30th or 31st?
>>
>>14365503
I really hope so, especially when they inevitably need to ask their existing backers to pay more for no reward.
>>
>>14365572
2 people apparently haven't heard about the T-Shirt add-on, since they're still at the $280 level. And the 20 people who pledged $350 haven't gone down yet. It's possible they backed and haven't been checking updates, but you'd think with that amount of money invested that they'd keep a closer eye on how the campaign is going.
>>
>>14364476
Pedophile on the other hand means attraction to prepubescent children while it is used for liking pre-age-of-consent-for-pornography-shots.
>>
>>14365346
There are a couple of reasons child porn is illegal.

- One is that the police has a hard time proving someone produced it, and it would be easier to catch producers if also posession was illegal.
- Second is to stop people from making money from creating and selling it.
- Main goal is that no child should be forced to pose for porn.

Now humans are idiots, so they have added fictional reasons as well.

- Children telepatically feel pain if you masturbate to pictures.
- If you look at CP, you become a rapist.
- I don't like it, so it is meaningless for it to exist.

The two last ones is the reason 2D CP is illegal. Basically it is western sharia laws for extremists that normal people just accept because "It doesn't harm me".

Since we're discussing loli, and this thread'll be dead tomorrow, and that youjo simulator game just came out on steam. The guy's actually got a twitter account, and I've found it mildly interesting to observe since the game just launched. Apparently the non steam versions of the game'll get slightly lewder in the future but the steam version won't, which it doesn't seem like sekai project's pointed out anywhere. So I guess if you want one more thing to blame them for.
Though considering the game's lack of quality in the first place, I don't really see it being that noteworthy.
>>
The $1,800 tier on Narcissu just sold out. I think Sekai is cheating it, since I doubt 3 people would just up and donate that much. 2 of which weren't even there last night, I checked. I think someone should report this to kickstarter, since it means that Sekai contributed over $5,000 to its own KS.
>>
>>14367168
Was the $1800 there since the beginning or was it added on at a later date?
>>
>>14367467
The $1,800 tier was there from the beginning, it's just that no one until very recently pledged at it.
>>
>>14367467
My wording was off, I meant that 2 of the 3 pledges at that tier weren't there last night. The timing is suspicious. And just a few days before was when the first pledge appeared at that tier. The first one I attributed to a fluke, but 2 such high donations overnight is just off.
>>
>>14367498
Would reporting the project based on those suspicions actually do anything? Does Kickstarter actually look carefully into these cases?
>>
>>14367513
Like reports here, unless a metric shitload of people do it, or you come at them with a lawsuit, almost certainly not. It's unfortunate, but that's the way the world works. They labor under the belief that if the real backers were angry, they'd pull their pledges and it'd fail without them needing to do anything. All they care about is A.) Collecting their cut of the check, and B.) Keeping their hands clean.
>>
>>14367513
It might not do anything, but at least bringing it to kickstarter's attention increases the chances of them acting on it. Just explain that nobody was donating above $350, then suspiciously within a very short timeframe (2 overnight), 3 people donated $1,800 for overpriced rewards when it looked like the campaign might be in trouble.
>>
>>14367536
Does the company not getting the amount they say they needed to fund the project count for nothing? If Sekai says it needs $75k, but but only gets $69,600 of backer money, then it shouldn't be allowed, since they don't have the money they claim they need to make it happen.
>>
>>14367538
Alright. Done, reported them. I've officially done my good deed of the day.
>>
>>14367560
Kickstarter forbids the creator from pledging, but also encourages you to get family and friends to pledge, so all SP needs to say is "we were close and convinced a friend to do it," and unless you have real proof that they outright paid them, you're fucked.

Good job, anon. If this actually works, /jp/ will tell the tale of your heroic defeat of Sekai Project for years to come.
>>

A ballad would be nice.
>>
>>14367670
Ohhh, there was an anon on /jp/ who saw Sekai Project's injustice, so he took action and reported their misdeeds to kickstarter, which really fucked them over. Now we sing this ballad of the brave, legendary anon to honor his valour.

>People making kickstarters don't even know Kickstarter's own rules about self-pledging

Christ, this is why crowdfunding is so fucking cancerous.
>>
>>14367746
Kickstarter is just free money and the people who make kickstarters have no obligation to deliver on anything they promise. Sure you can try to get a refund, but if they don't want to give you one, you'll have an uphill battle trying to get one.
>>
>>14367756
>Kickstarter is just free money and the people who make kickstarters have no obligation to deliver on anything they promise
Wrong. https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2015/06/crowdfunding-project-creator-settles-ftc-charges-deception
>>
>>14367777
>used most of the funds on himself
That was outright fraud. He made no legitimate attempt to produce the game he promised.
>>
>>14365701
>- Main goal is that no child should be forced to pose for porn.
>forced

So if a child do it by their own will it's fine? No, it isn't.
Any sexual activity below a certain age is considered by a society as bad thing, and what is the most imporant, sexual acts are forbidden below 16yo (depends on the country) by the law.
It's called the "age of consent", even if the person below age of consent will agree to have sex with you, that person will be the victim and you will be offender and you will face legal charges.
>>
>>14367789

The thing is that one case was an outlier, with ill intent from the start. But how many KS projects quietly fall victim not to planned malice, but mere misguided negligence and mismanagement? And where does one draw the line between "some of this KS money will go towards my own wages aka my living expenses" and "lemme buy myself some sweet new shit that isn't at all related to the project because I'm entitled to nice things once in a while"?

Quite a few, probably, given the mindset and background of the average KS project starter.
>>
>>14367777
His sentence to pay back some 100 grand was suspended because he was all out of money. This essentially means that he got away with spending almost all the money raised for himself... and he had to agree not to do it again. Yeah. Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
>>
>>14367852
>Under the settlement order, Chevalier is prohibited ... from failing to honor stated refund policies
He still has to refund all money or get completely screwed for violating settlement.
>>
>>14367866
>Under the settlement order, Chevalier is prohibited from making misrepresentations about any crowdfunding campaign and from failing to honor stated refund policies.

This is for the future, not the past. He is prohibited from failing to honor stated refund policies, not that he has to refund the previous money.

Also, there are no next to no refund policies for Kickstarter.
>>
>>14367875
No, its from his past campaign. Read more careful:
>But after 14 months, Chevalier announced that he was cancelling the project and refunding his backers’ money.
>>
>>14367879
You can't be prohibited from actions you've already done.
>>
Fyi sending a fake dmca is much more effective in messing up a kickstarter since it'll shut down the page for at least a day or two, most effective on the last 48 hours especially if it's not funded
>>
>>14368037
Unfortunately, Kickstarter allows creators to extend their pledge periods if shady shit like that happens, and it'd probably engender sympathy for SP, fuel their bullshit narrative, and attract more attention to the project.
>>
>>14368037
"As soon as men decide that all means are permitted to fight an evil, then their good becomes indistinguishable from the evil that they set out to destroy."
>>
>>14367645
So you'd rather we get nothing and to shut down Sekai Project, with no reasonable alternatives to replace them, than for them to fund themselves a little bit.
Smart.
>>
>>14368338
Yes.
>>
>>14368338
>we get nothing and to shut down Sekai Project, with no reasonable alternatives
There are tons of reasonable alternatives (MangaGamer, JAST, self-publishing companies) and more appear every month, like MikandiJP.
>>
>>14368460
The way he's oversimplified it from
>KS fails, SP has to foot entire cost, releases game they've already committed to releasing
>KS succeeds, SP collected $60k+ but has to foot $4-5k, releases game they've already committed to releasing
to
>KS fails, SP dies, nobody gets anything ever
>KS succeeds, SP used their own money for us, everyone wins

sure looks like Dovac's usual bullshit.
>>
>>14367800
The goal is still to have no child forced into it. The reason age of consent comes into play is because people decided that anyone below the age of 16 is an idiot. And every idiot would be fooled into thinking they wanted to pose for porn.

The irony is that the reason it is not age 17, is because at 16 you are smart enough to fool the photographer and blackmail them.

(But law actually extend it to 18 on pictures, so in reality it is set up as a trap to let children blackmail adults.)
>>
Alleged funding fraud aside, it does seem like sekai is desperately throwing everything they've got at the narcissu kickstarter. They're updating it nearly daily now to try to get attention and it's still moving pretty slow. I think they'll make it in the end by hook or crook, but it's certainly been an uphill battle, especially considering they slashed the initial asking amount in half.

I wonder if this is what it'll take to finally get dovac to lay off the kickstarters? Surely even he realizes that there's a limit to what the market will tolerate, and he's getting there quick.
>>
>>14369325
There's also more competition on it now. And many of the oelvns ending up signing with Sekai Project to get more press, but now more groups are starting to be independent and don't see the use in having a publisher.
>>
>>14369325
Amusingly reddit vn board started removing Narcissu updates because they were spamming the subreddit.
>>
>>14369325
>>14369362
I really hope this is the first nail in their coffin. Their entire business plan seems to be to do promise the heavens, and then do as minimal as possible to give the impression that they tried when they're obviously phoning it in on every aspect and constantly blaming other companies when they fuck up.
>>
>>14369393
They've had it easy because VN fans are desperate. Anyone else get hammered if they botch one Kickstarter, Sekai Project has botched like half a dozen and has a bunch more that are just waiting for problems to be revealed. You can't keep milking the same audience over and over if you don't even deliver of what they've already paid for. Even idiots will realize they're being scammed eventually.
>>
>>14369447
Unfortunately, as long as they keep scapegoating the developers and the fuckfaces keep buying their narrative of SP is the good guys, it's the original devs that are making it impossible to keep all the promises they make, that's not going to happen.
