I really love New Hampshire. There isn't anywhere else in the world I would rather live. I'm an active member of the freedom movement, and I feel at home here.

Isn't the history of a place determined by what happens within it? Any two places have a different history, but I'm not sure how vastly significant the differences are.

In terms of mindset and ideology there is a significant difference between the two states, but there are similarities. New Hampshire was one of the original 13 colonies. Vermont was the 14th state, mostly because of contesting claims about who owned parts of Vermont.

Their roles in the war for independence were rather different. Vermont interacts much more with New York and New Hampshire interacts much more with Massachusetts, so that has surely influenced things.
