>>
>>79207152
>Aren't they kinda shitty phones by today's standard?
Depends on the use case. If were talking about pure usability lag, slowdown wise - beats android on the head, it was made back in the day when similarly specced android phones had 1G of memory, this one has 2G and it doesn't run android. BBOS10 was based on QNX which is singlehandedly THE best *nix based RTOS ever made.
They also managed to get hand gestures right since entire UI pretty much revolves around gestures.
Blackberry HUB is great.

But by today's standards it's pretty shite as a smartphone. Forget about social media too - facebook ditches support for BBOS10 long time ago, you can only access it via browser.
Luckily I don't care about smartphone features that much anymore.

I use a lot of e-mails and blackberries been on the top of the market for decades.

Huawei is really descent and reliable brand, or at least that's what my father always tells me.
He works in telecom engineering and one of the reasons he ditched out AT&T for another company was because american CEO's only wanted to use american equipment such as motorola, and motorola is an awfully bad brand, their equipment works two year tops, it was 4 times as expensive and repairs were extremely slow, so slow that engineers would rather throw malfunctioning equipment in the trash because waiting for repairs meant having a month old redundancy gap in the grid.
Seriously i have the idea that having the logo "made in america" is counterproductive nowadays, american quality is completely awful

Read about it a little. American services are perfectly okay giving American president an American made (or at least designed lmao) device. They had a problem with Blackberry because its a Canadian company and they couldn't secure it as much as they wanted. What happens to China's politics is legit the big wildcard for the 21st century

Your park being covered in shit will probably cost you more in the long run than building those toilets, unless the Chinese like seeing people shitting in bushes.

1. According to the UN and The Economist, 99%+ of Chinese defecate in toilets. Some of the rural Tibetans do not.
2. This is the same argument I hear about India getting toilets before rockets and nukes.
That's not how it works. In the world if you don't want to get cucked by the big boys, you sacrifice everything to defend yourself and boost your technology.
Even if you have to leave some of your people behind.

They will become wealthy and then become a democracy comparable to Taiwan/S.Korea/Japan.

Nationalist Kuomintang will be the dominant party though so it will not necessarily lead to better relations with China

>>79217210
If and when the CCP eventually falls from power (and it will sometime during this century), who knows what happens then?
>>
>>79217423
Shut the fuck up you absolute nigger

The biggest fucking China bear on Earth called it quits, and now is a China bull.

That speaks far more than your abhorent childish shitposting.

If you doubt China, bet against it. Join him.
If not, shut the fuck up.

I don't remember Europeans shitting on the streets after the dark ages.
Providing your citizens with basic hygiene is something that makes your country not a disease ridden shithole and might actually pay you back with a capable workforce.

This is wishful thinking to me.

To be a superpower, a country needs military, diplomatic, economic, and cultural strength. China has a a little of 1 and 3, not much of 2, and nothing of 4 at all.

Really looking forward to the Kirin 970 AI CPU specialized for machine learning and running neuronal networks. Soon, these AI processes do not need to be run in the cloud but could be done onboard, which also saves power.

Should be the world's first at this stage.

but don't worry even if the chinese replace you, the chinese will suffer the same fate, like you and the british, the french, the spainiards, the chinese dynasties, india and rome.
No one stays a superpower forever.

Statistically, isn't every super power lifetime getting shorter? With cheaper manufactured since the industrial revolution and people getting out of povertry in droves, and easy access to information and comunications, I bet good educated and growing middle classes and political classes on the third world are leveling the play field.

They literally do though. The difference is that the right economic conditions for deflation (slowing growth, rising interest rates, capital flight) are appearing in China, so the government has had less success in reining it in.

Literally another thread by people who could never spend a day in China. It's an absolute clusterfuck of a country with no morals, no reason, aimless lying, and blind Faith in the CCP.

Fun fact: most publicly listed companies now have the majority of there investments in property, which the CCP controls. Not sure what happens with the property bubble, but the Wanda and leeco CEOs are already trying to bail.

I read this book "The Chinese: Portrait of a People" by John Fraser. It was written at the end of the 70s and a lot has changed in China since then, but sadly a whole lot of things are still exactly the same.
>>
>>79226590
It's a fucked-up mess poorly held together with fake CCP statistics and suppression of political dissent.

a 12% devaluing in 3 years after and before a strong valuation, not what I'd call an aggresive monetary manipulation
