Have you ever encountered a total asshole at a border crossing?

I often find American border guards are the biggest assholes who will fuck you over or grill you just because they can. Canadian border guards I find are mostly indifferent, they're there simply to make sure you pay duties if you buy stuff and you're not bringing in firearms.

Agreed. If it weren't for the trip back, I'd go to Montreal more often. It's an hour closer than Boston.

the only thing i have ever encountered a border crossing here, was a small signpost saying "you are now entering spain". there aren't even any ground markings
