What do Guatemalans think of Mexicans and what do Mexicans

As far as I know, they hate us because of football and because some of our countrymen call them "Guatepeor" (Guateworst). Also the Chiapas thing. Or at least the ones who hate us are a vocal minority, I don't know, most of them are probably more preoccupied with other things.

On this side, not much. Most people don't think of them, other than when we play football. But some genuinely treat Central Americans in general really bad and blame them for the entire illegal immigration on them. Sort of like how rednecks blame everything on blacks and Mexicans.

I think that the existence of Guatemala and all of central america is a mistake and they should be reunited with us through peaceful means. The only reason we aren't is because petty feuds of elites from the 1800s. And I don't even mean any of this in a derogatory way towards them but I really do feel they are unofficial Mexican states. I would really love to hear opinions of central american nations about this.
