I assume it's the same in the USA, but here in the Netherlands an illegally taken blood test cannot be used as evidence in court. As the inviolability of your bodily integrity is a constitutional right. So taking one illegally is pretty useless anyway. Following the rules would actually help the cops case, as the nurse cooperating would ruin his case.
