You lose all your posessions if you've attacked another player and if you haven't you only keep what the game deems to be your 3 most valuable items.

If you die, you lose all the items that you had in your backpack, except the 3 most valuable ones. If you attack another player you get skulled (a skull and crossed bones sign shows up above your head for a certain time after attacking) and if you die while skulled, you lose all your items in your backpack. You don't get skulled if you attack a player that recently attacked you (self defence is legal in a britbong game, wtf). You can store items in bank, so you don't have to keep everything with you all the time.
