Go to all of the frosh orientation crap. It's lame, but you seriously meet a lot of people. Forget about the past, if your old friends suck then guess what you will make new ones. I went back to undergrad at 22 and it was a hell of a lot more fun. Where are you studying btw, I was at Carleton in Ottawa

In my school its very extra-curricular based. Join something. There should be like a student involvement fair or something.

I'd highly recommend getting a job at the student pub. Bouncer or bartender, but hell even server if it will get your foot in the door

HA! Small world. I dropped out after my first year to join the US Marines (dual citizen) and I came back because they paid 100% of my tuition and I got a monthly check just to be a student. It was basically a job. I don't really remember much of Carleton, but I had a hell of a time! Yeah man go to Olivers, its on the 1st floor of the UC building apply as soon as you can. Also you have to bar hop in Hull. Just trust me.
