What does death mean in your culture? In Mexico we have a very European look at death as Spanish people tend to have more catholic conservative views on it. What're yours?

It's a Brazilian's biggest fear. Brazilians are so scared of death it's not even funny. Which is why i think in a war Brazil would get defeated very easily, our soldiers are afraid of being in a conflict where there is a high chance of dying.

Kek why does this trigger beaners so much? I mean I understand why it's incorrect, just not why it bothers anyone.

People get way sadder about it than they should, considering that it happens to literally 100% of everyone, without exception. Personally I view it like a release from prison. I'm an atheistfag so I don't believe in an afterlife, I just hate living and don't want to do it anymore.

You'd have to be an absolute moron to believe this, it goes against every single academic work written on the subject, which in the case of Mexico is a formidable body of work given death is something of a national obsession. This includes the work of Nobel laureate Octavio Paz who devotes a large tract of his Labyrinth of Solitude to the Mexican concept of death.
Mexicans celebrate death and live alongside it, the Aztec celebration of Mictlantecuhtli having merged with Catholicism in the syncretic Day of the Dead celebration in which many Mexicans believe the deceased return once a year from the land of the dead to rest and visit their loved ones.

>the earthquake of 1755 in lisbon was in 2 of november
>shortly after, fires broke out, so people ran to the shore
>finaly a tsunami (from the quake) hits the coast and kills the survivors
that's how we learned about divine retribution... on a more serious tone, it is supposed to happen every 350 years give or take

Traben's Macario would be another good one.
Mexicans can reject the devil and even reject God, but feast with death.
