You would become somewhat useful, so no longer Not Employed Education or Training.

I teach English in Spain (back for 2 weeks) and some of the teachers I've met are thick as pig-shit.

If you take a TESOL course (probably around $1000 in Australia) or have a degree you can pretty much just rock up and get a job in a private school.
