Do you have any controversial statues or monuments in your country?

We don't really have any, but I recall a recent story in which some activist wanted to remove a swastika on a WWII-era anchor on display in a small Quebec town.

Pic is also related; in Taiwan they just moved most of Chiang Kai-shek's statues into a park outside his mausoleum.
