A lot of cheap barren land. Good for their dog fights. It's a common thing there for millionaries to attach guns to their bush planes and have and have duels.

I assume this is millionaire-excluding-home-value, otherwise we're just looking at a real estate market map.

Anyway one reason might be deliberately getting rid of the money people. You have to keep in mind that, although money is glamorized by the Puritanical part of our society, it also brings constant trouble. Anyone with a few million bucks is basically guaranteed to bribe the local police for one reason or another, and if they don't, the police will demand that they start and will shake them down if they don't.
