This philosphical conundrum is already here. There are tons of people that are white by phenotype but are not considered white because of their origins.

I don't think it's the same. A lot if not most of these people that are light are from ethnic groups that are not considered Western and have their own culture and homelands, but on the other hand, people like pic related were born and raised in the West, are largely Westernized and are partially descended from the local white population.

Mixed people are very easy to spot, there is no concept of "white" here. I knew a guy who had a spanish mother and he definitely stood out as foreign. English people stand out too.
