EU has a big problem with public relations.
When something good happens like the recent work between Libya and Italy people act like Italy did all the work and EU was useless, when the reality is diplomacy over that has been going on for over a year.
Merkel helped secure money to influence african states and Macron helped seal the deal between the waring sides in Libya before Italy sent the ships.
But in a few months mouth breathers will be telling the tale of how Italy did it alone. Against the EU almost.
This is why we can't and will not have a continental army, cooperation never happened when it's time to jerk the domestic dick.
