Is it true that in Europe and Latin America Levi's are for rich people?

Never heard about it, there are thousands of jeans brands
No, it's the common jeans. If you don't know shit about fashion, take a 501.
They cost 1000 kr and are worn out in 6 months, so yeah, they are for rich people who feel like wasting money on shit.
I don't know how people can even wear the 501. I have an old one from younger years and it's basically skin tight. Tried on a Wrangler Arizona a few years ago and the fit is so good that I now own multiple of them.
It is pretty much for impoverished people here, so presumably

Depending on the model, the go from €60 to €120.
ps: Levis are the only jeans I buy.

I think so.
>jeans
>rich people
hahahaha no
I got a hand me down Levi's from mom (she bought them in London I think) and wore them to middle school.
Some girl asker if those are new jeans and I mentioned that theyre Levis. She freaked out and even started looking for the back label where the "Levi's" branding/logo is
Pretty weird, but I can imagine how Levi's are seen in Croatia if even in Western Europe they're seen as "expensive(-ish?)"
