the whole country is a tourist trap, that's their only real industry, every cave have some philosopher or saint associated with it, every hill have some story to be told about it to attract gullible tourists, authenticity is not their strong suite but I must admit they are doing it right when it comes to tourist satisfaction and retention

I'd visit go see the historical places then move the fuck away from touristic places and tour some small villages with a car if I were you
Also avoid going to tavernas in popular places they serve shitty food and are overpriced
Go to mykonos the last few days to party and get laid
