It's alright. Nice that you can live almost any way you'd like to and no one will care, and the amount of different places you can live in the U.S. with different climate/culture is excellent. However, the media and politics here are awful, and the culture doesn't feel right. The country changes so rapidly it's as if it's desperate to keep up with the times, but doesn't feel built to last. Also, I'm not confident on this, but I've read from many non-Americans that our share of terrible people is larger, and I'd like to escape that too.
After I get my degree, I'd like to try living in Germany, France, or the UK. Even if they've worsened in recent years, they've got to be a huge improvement over this country.
