I've been there many times, holy shit has that region improved since 10 years ago.
It says something when I'm waking down the streets of myanmar and the streets are cleaner, better kept, and more organized than American streets.
I feel like Singapore is already first world, pretty soon all southeast Asian countries will be except for Cambodia, Philippines and laos. There's also a huge arms race going on now in SEA as well.
