No clue what this language is but i understood everything lol. Just visit small towns/cities, one thing that we have over neighbour countries is huge amount of castles and pretty nature. Architecture is all communist or in historical cities A-H, but there are some historical peasant houses like pic related.

For cities i would pick Bardejov,Banská Štiavnica,Kremnica and similar small ones. We only have 2 ''big'' cities, Košice which is actually nice city to visit i would reccomend. And Bratislava our capital which is just small Wien(45 minutes away from it, always historically connected) Nothing special about this city honestly, if you plan on visiting Wien you can see everything in Bratislava in a day.

I know lot of foreigner students here and most of them had similar experience. Its rare for Slovak to meet foreigners that are not Hungarians or Gypsies, which are not actual foreigners. Lot of people live their entire life without meeting somebody foreign.
