Are japanese Peruvians a thing? I mean, i know there was an influx, but i mean, is there a really modern impact? Like japanese communities, jap schools, and seeing japs in your average day?
I sometimes think all the Peruvians here are probably japs, and there probably isn't a single native Peruvian posting.

Really insightful.
Just because you see the same guy animeposting doesn't mean they are all japanese.
There are probaby some nips there, but i don't think they count as more than 5% of the population. I think i read it was around that figuregrouped together with the chinese and other asians

They had a Jap President.
They also have a Polish guy as president right now.
I hear they also have a couple of people in politics that are also Japs.
There was this Japanese woman who ran for president against the Polish guy recently and lost.
idk what else the japanese do in Peru.

In Japan, UMA means delicious. Like umami.
Uma delicia is sound like delicious delicious
What uma means in Spanish?

It does not mean anything. "Uma delicia" would be translated as "Una delicia".

it means something along the lines of "quiet down you animal"

In industrial area that has factories or warehouses all over the place, it's easier to hit Jap Peruvians but still it would be less than Jap Brazilians or 100% Brazilians.
