what is your country's most famous weapons manufacturer?
Ours has got to be Browning Arms Company
Ours is Colt or Springfield
>>78148300
Apparently narcos buy American
Izhmash
H&K I guess. They produced some iconic arms that entered popular culture
Mendoza and Trejo, but they only make air sport guns as far as I know
For firearms only "Fabrica nacional de armas" and it belongs to SEDENA our defence ministry
>>78148333
last time Colt did anything of note, it was the fucking 19th century
Springfield did a few good rifles
meanwhile Browning made the first gun with a fucking slide, a singlestack .45 that is still everywhere today, the first Wonder Nine, and machine guns, handguns, and shotguns galore.
Masamune
>>78148406
Kijirō Nambu?
>>78148300
>>78148333
I would have said S&W personally.
It's the archetypal American gun.
>>78148464
*blocks your path*
>>78148464
in name only maybe
modern times the only things of note that they produce are cheap, decent starter ARs and glockalikes
Long recoil makes my dick harder than the stock that's on that buti
h&h here got a nice jacket from there desu
Beretta
>>78148482
>>78148514
Well, I will always associate S&W with Burgerland, same as a Winchester rifle (now owned by the chinks like our beloved MG I believe?)
You guys are pretty good at guns and cars though I'll admit as much as I could go full eurosnob.
>>78148370
But that's British :^
>>78148333
Springfield is shit
There rifle was subpar in ww1 as a sniper rifle it was shit in ww2 what else have they made?
>>78148570
I'm in the market to get either a Chevy Nova or Ford Falcon, and a Browning Hi Power
Taurus. Sadly they destroyed their image forever with their Polymer pistols, even though they still make God-tier revolvers.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taurus_(manufacturer)
Prefer IMBEL personally.
>>78148607
>you can literally shoot a taurus by shaking it
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2fn6GFSwTEw
ah yes brazilian manufacturing
>>78148639
Two can play.
>>78148639
Holy fuck Brazil
>>78148300
Aimo Lahti. He made the Suomi kp/-31, the Lahti anti-tank rifle, some AA machine guns and a shitty overcomplicated LMG.
>>78148699
that's not nearly as embarrassing as a non-shake-safe handgun
>>78148746
Among other things, that is.
>>78148639
Did they not even test the guns before selling them? Jesus Fucking Christ.
Kongsberg
>>78148639
Good weapon for american niggerbands
>>78148866
I think a Kongsberg Colt would be fun to own
>the Nazi 1911
>>78148845
it's brazil so honestly that's up in the air
Sako
Probably Heckler & Koch, although one could argue that Walther also is very famous.
>>78148960
>Nazi 1911
No
It came a long time before the nazis invaded Norway. During WW2 it was used by the resistance to fight nazis.
>>78149616
hnnnggg
Has Denmark or Norway ever had any domestic small arms manufacturers that weren't armories? I can find guns from almost anywhere else in yurop but I have literally never seen a Danish or Norwegian firearm that wasn't made for the government.
Beretta, Benelli also good
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5uHt4AwYb4
>>78149949
no, but those armories also made weapons for the civilian market
>>78148300
Samurai sword "Katana"
>>78150181
such as hunting rifles
I beg to differ from my countrymen and put Walther or Luger (even though thats not really a company) out there.
Also for everyone who ever owned a rifle, Mauser should be known aswell
>>78150181
>>78150201
Doesn't count.
Are there really not even small gun manufacturers who make things like target rifles or sporting shotguns?
>>78150295
Walther makes such nice handguns, I'm gonna get one soon
But my dream gat is still an mp5
>>78150617
Which one will you get?
>>78150741
likely a PPQ
>>78148574
Honest WW2 non bias poll
>engfield vs springfield
Husqvarna or Bofors depending on what kind of weapons.
Husqvarna made pistols, rifles, shotguns and machine guns between 1689 and 1979.
Bofors is a massive ordinance manufacturer. Aka cannons, AA guns, granades, tanks etc.
Been a artillery manufacturing company for more than 350 years
>>78151005
bofors what?
bofors deez nuts
lmao
The Izhevsk machining plant. They've produced most of the AK-74's you see today.
>>78148482
*glocks your path*
we have only one. FB
>>78151057
nice picture of a hand grenade
>>78148300
I think it's a tie between František Koucký (worked for arms factory Uherský Brod) and Václav Holek (Brno arms factory)
Holek came up with most guns adopted by Czechoslovakia, most famously Vz.26 (=BREN), post-war SMGs (proto-Uzi) and bunch of others
if you are interested in obscure guns, the ones named ZH## are all Holeks and most if not all guns ZB## are also his (or his team/brothers)
some examples from the Gun Jesus
https://www.forgottenweapons.com/early-semiauto-rifles/czech-zh29-rifle/
https://www.forgottenweapons.com/czech-sa-vz-26-smg-video/
Koucký came up with CZ 75, along with all manner of guns
guns named ZK### are his

>>78151016
got bought by BAE I think.
>>78150396
No, because there are so many european manufacturers that we don't lack anything.
Beretta, also this iconic shotgun by Franchi
>>78150017
>Beretta bought Uberti
>Benelli bought Beretta
In the end there is only Benelli, but with a different name. Just like Taurus bought Rossi here.
>>78150017
>lmfao that CGI gramps still trying to get pussy at his age.
>>78153189
There are people who do custom stuff if you pay enough. Vaagsland helped make or made a .700 NE last year and Ragnar Hansen has been making a killing on his Rem 700 pattern recievers.
>>78148300
Arquebuz?
But maybe our bronze cannons that could be reloaded from the ass, rekt thousands of ottomans
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.338_Lapua_Magnum
Probably Sako
>>78148300
I thought it was Winchester
Steyr, they used to be much bigger, nowadays they mostly provide knowhow
Afaik most AUGs are produced under license
>>78148300
company of krupp is one of them for sure, they made tons of weapons who killed millions of people. today i would say H&K, Rheinmetall is also very famous.
>>78148370
Honestly I would have said Mauser or DWM for Germany.
>>78148300
Bersa.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lvB93CmCndo
>>78148300
Isn't that Belgian now?
Mauser by far
As far as I know H&K founders are former Mauser employees
>>78148300

Great choice. I own one, have nothing but high praise for the thing. It's top tier right out of the box, although apparently you burgs get plastic sights instead of the metal ones we yurps get, so you might want to change those.
>>78150780
>>78166495
Forgot to add: get the paddle release version (PPQ classic or M1). There's nothing wrong with the button release version, but the paddle release is the tits. It's fast and intuitive, naturally ambi, and you don't have to break your grip to actuate it.
