Could anyone point me when any South American country was communist in their history?

There were a couple but they got CIA'd. Also, Cuba still exists.

I said South America, also
>There were a couple

Just because we are on that map, we never had full fledged gommunism, but we still have our own version of agricultural soviets and our labor laws are full on Marxist, back in the 80's the government nationalized all banks and owned a large share of industry. Mexico is in terms of laws a socialist country, has been since the Mexican revolution.

Well so is Norway, Finland, Sweden, Southern Europe, but they aren't accused of communism I wonder why?
>>
>>78127661
What do you mean? Lard-brained burgers accuse Nordics of gommunism all the time.
>>
>>78127699
Well, but not by their own media and their own people. Anything that is socialistic in nature and nationalistic here is considered communism by default
>>
>>78127699
THIS

Also keep in mind we had a one party system for 70 years so I guess we did come pretty close to a communist country at some point. While our laws are strongly based on those of France and other European countries (eg criminal law is based on Germany, gun laws are modelled after the UK, etc.) I guess it's more like Russia and China today in that we can have capitalism on a socialist legal frame. Funny enough we've been the biggest proponents of free trade in the region.

OP sounds like a faggot ie commie, so it's likely he expects someone to point out whatever country just to proceed and say "lol no real communism :^)" and feel smart.
The verdict: Ignore and sage
>>

Sure but never a communist country, you never seized the means of production or enacted one-party communist state
>>78127894
All I am asking is a country with a one-party communist dictatorship and that has seized the means of production just like in Eastern Europe or Cuba
>>
>>78127295
None
>>
>>78127994
Why do you even ask something like that? If you have x and y conditions and want to know what country fulfills them you can just do it by checking wikipedia or something, and then if you find one ask about that country in particular. There's a hidden meaning in your question and i want you to say what is it.
>>
>Christina Kirschner
Oh come on, at least put some effort in it
>>
>>78128295
>Why do you even ask something like that?
Because I want to

>Brazilian education
>>
>>78128588
what?
>>
>>78127994
We did seize the means of production when it came to land/agriculture, as well as fisheries, and as I mentioned at some point in our history we had nationalized much of the country's industry (it means it was government owned) also we did have single party rule even if nominally it was commited to a form of left leaning nationalist socialism and not communism per se. Mexico had its revolution a little earlier than Russia so we were able to create to create a left leaning system without Soviet influence. It was inspired by Marxism in many ways tho.
