I want to learn Russian and be able to speak it fluently enough that i can handle myself if I went to Russia. I have no clue how to start so if anyone could give me some tips or some books I should read to get started. I've heard Rosetta stone isn't that good for being able to speak a language fluently.
get a textbook and try duolinguo as an additional exercise
generally you mostly learn what you practice (like if you read in russian you mostly train your reading, if you listen to russian stuff you learn your listening comprehension etc) so as soon as you can you should try to speak with people
Well i live in half Russian family so that won't really be a problem, do you know of any textbooks or anything i can do to get started?
