Brazilians love it because it means Brazil is a great place that is attracting people to come live here. I mean, why would a guy leave Germany, an advanced first world country one of the best on earth to come live in Brazil? It must mean that Brazil is really good right(not my words, just saying this is Brazilian's logic).

Also we hear regularly on the media that the world loves Brazil and everyone wants to live here and that we're the coolest people on earth, so this basically confirms it.
