How do Canadians feel about the travel and work restrictions being lifted for Romanians at the end of the year? Source: http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/romania-roumanie/visa.aspx?lang=eng

I'm a Romanian living in London for 3 years. I work a stupidly well paid job as a Software Developer so all the environments I've worked in are immigrant-friendly, so no trouble really in London, but it's no secret when I speak to a waiter / someone in the service industry / someone in France when travelling that my kind is seen as pretty much the worst.

I don't expect there to be an influx into Canada of immigrants the likes which deluge mainland EU, because it costs £500 with a layover to fly to Toronto from Bucharest (vs £20 Ryanair flights to any major EU capital), but I'm wondering if I decide to try to settle down in Canada if I'll be seen as an unwanted there too.
