How is Hinduism in India? Do people take it completely seriously like some Christians do? Like are there millions of people who genuinely believe all of the myths about Krishna and so on?

Why do people keep mocking Vikings by putting horns on their helmets, eat shit and die.

Helmets from the Vendel Period and Viking Age. There is no need to guess when there are authentic helmets in museums.

>Like are there millions of people who genuinely believe all of the myths about Krishna and so on?
Probably, but everyone I know has never given explicit confirmation that they believe in Mahabharata literally.
>Do people take it completely seriously like some Christians do?
Yes, of course. My grandparents are extremely religious. they have a huge collection of religious literature translated/originally written in Marathi, everything from Bhagavada Geeta to Upanishads and books on Rama and characters from Mahabharata like karna.
Funny thing is almost no religious person i know has read the Vedas, even the translated versions, except for this one atheist who has read them in sanskrit.

Vedas are mainly for theologians/holy men, not for commoners. At least that's what my professor said when I took an elective in religion at university.

yeah, but even people i know who put a lot of time into theological study have never ever studied the vedas, which strikes me as strange.
there'no real reason why you wouldn't read the vedas if you are actively studying other relgious books
