my family is Serbian. 50% of us from both sides have dark hair/dark eyes, yet the other half has blue/green eyes with much lighter hair.

For example. my uncle had black eyes/dark brown hair and married a woman who was half Czech/half Serb and he had two children. One was dark haired/dark eyed like him and one looked so nordic it would have made Hitler weep tears of joy.
