I've seen Europe and on here express concern about visiting the u.s because of casual gun violence and random shootings. Then I see we Americans do the same about all the Mexico countries south of our border. Speaking for myself, I wouldn't go down there on a bet. I've seen and read too many things about cartels and innocent bystanders getting whacked.
I'm not scared to live where I live, there's no random violence or anything. But my question to Mexicans and south Americans is, are you even somewhat frightened to live where you live? I mean I know Mexico is not just cartel members running around shooting people, and I'm not trying to say America is all better than you or anything. But do you ever worry about being CARTEL'D?

These days you only get carteled by going to shitholes like juarez, sinaloa, tamaulipas, veracruz, michoacan, guerrero, jalisco.
The rest are only semi-dangerous if traveling by road to remote places
Common crime should by the actual concerns for both locals and visitors tbqh
