I only did a Master's degree because I got a good opportunity to develop a practical project.

Well there are two, Kinfolk and Riot of Perfume. The latter I doubt, but Kinfolk is a relatively big publication so perhaps with some digging? None that I know of though. If it's the relationship aspect of this magazine you're interested in, you'd be much better off getting a copy of Gary Chapman's books, specifically the Five Languages of Love. They're wonderful and promote a serious feeling of contentedness in relationships if you're willing to take the time to learn and change. There are TONS of copies too as he's a hugely popular author so I don't doubt you could find those for free, possibly even in Russian :)

Have light walls? Get darker stuff. Have dark walls? Get lighter stuff. Try to keep your stuff more-or-less matching (dark with dark), similar colours (brown with beige, grey with black, etc.) or contrasting colours (look at a colour wheel...let's say you have something blue. just see what's opposite of blue and throw those in for "accents" (read: not the main focus; less of it)), similar materials or look (woow with wood (or faux wood), plastic with plastic, metal with metal, etc.), and so on.

As for wall decor, you can realy put whatever you want. Just make sure to measure and level everything, and don't cheap out. Spend the $5 for a Walmart frame for your movie posters, and get some proper nails from the dollar store; don't just thumb-tack shit into the walls.

And speaking of walls, try to hug them. Desks on the walls, table against it, couch and TV against it, and so on. Free up some floor space and get a nice rug, or leave it clear. Or, if hugging the wall isn't your thing, hug your furniture. Desk against the back of the couch, as an example.

And don't be afraid of potted plants, lamps, or room dividers. They help out a lot.
